Advanced Diving course - Rescue Diver

So you're giving more thought to being self-reliant. Up to this stage, your training has been based on the buddy system. Not that it should be any other way, but what if your buddy got into trouble? Or, maybe you found another diver in difficulty during a dive. What would you do?

The PADI Rescue Diver course is designed to give you the skills required to deal with accident prevention and management.

To gain entry onto this course you must be an Advanced Open Water diver, or Advanced + (or equivalent). You must also have a PADI Emergency First Response and First Aid Certificate (or equivalent), and have logged at least 20 dives.

This course is very comprehensive and performance based.

During the PADI Rescue Diver course, you'll learn how to foresee, prevent, and manage potential diving accidents. Most of the previous skills learned from Open Water, through to your current qualification (including EFR and First Aid), are revisited and practiced.

Tired diver tow's, to handling possible emergency situations, are accomplished using scenarios that build up the knowledge, and skills required to overcome most problems, in the unlikely event they arise in or out of the water.

This course can be undertaken as part of a holiday package if required. The cost of the training can be built in the holiday package and is very competitive.
