The purpose of this course is to familiarise divers with the theory, skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, hazards, benefits and enjoyment of multilevel diving with The Wheel and/or with modern dive computers.

The following topics will be covered during this course:

The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of multilevel diving

Definition and advantages of multilevel diving

• The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of multilevel diving
• Definition and advantages of multilevel diving.
  • Methods of calculating multilevel dives (The Wheel and/or dive computers)
  • Review of decompression sickness theory
  • Review of emergency decompression procedures
  • Review of PADI's S.A.F.E. campaign
  • Procedures for flying after diving
  • Guidelines, rules and procedures for multilevel diving with the Wheel and/or diving computers
  • Care and maintenance of dive computers

The recommended course time is approximately 12 hours over a period of two days and includes two dives, over a two-day period.

Prerequisite for Certification

PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Junior Open Water Diver or equivalents and be over 12 years old.
